Happy American Archives Month! This month is intended to raise public awareness about the importance of historic documents and records. Join us though out this month to learn more about how our staff makes history accessible to the public!
FSU Special Collections and Archives will celebrating American Archives Month multiple ways throughout October:
- Blog posts: Throughout the month our archivists, librarians, and employees will be sharing posts that explain the type of work they do.
- #AskAnArchivist Day: On October 12th, archivists around the country will take to social media to respond to questions tweeted with the hashtag #AskAnArchivist. FSU SCA will be taking over FSU Libraries Instagram and Twitter accounts on that day and will be answering questions from the public! Send in your burning questions to us about archives and special collections.
